Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement HVAC systems for various projects.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine HVAC requirements.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on HVAC systems.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HVAC standards.
- Utilize energy management techniques to optimize system efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers on project designs.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
- Provide training and support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Monitor project progress and report on project milestones.
- Work with procurement to select appropriate HVAC equipment.
- Assist in creating budgets and timelines for HVAC projects.
- Engage with clients to understand their HVAC needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC engineering.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- In-depth understanding of HVAC principles and practices.
- Strong project management skills with proven experience managing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of local and international building codes.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and regulations.
- Certifications such as LEED or HVAC Excellence are a plus.
- Proficient in technical report writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for project site visits.
