The Human Resource Manager will lead and manage the overall HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training & development, statutory compliance, and organizational culture building. The role is both strategic and operational ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations while contributing to the company's long-term people strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding- Plan and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for all departments.
- Coordinate end-to-end hiring process: job posting, shortlisting, interviewing, offer letters, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Design and conduct orientation programs for new employees.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances, ensuring timely resolution.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through communication and engagement initiatives.
- Organize employee welfare activities, events, and feedback mechanisms.
3. Performance Management- Implement and manage appraisal systems and Key Result Areas.
- Support department heads in setting performance goals and conducting reviews.
- Identify training and development needs based on performance data.
4. Training & Development- Design and implement training calendars aligned with organizational goals.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Track effectiveness of learning interventions.
5. Compliance & HR Administration- Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws, PF/ESI, professional tax, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRMIS systems.
- Draft and update HR policies, employment contracts, and company handbooks.
6. Strategic HR Initiatives- Support leadership in manpower planning and organizational structuring.
- Develop and execute retention strategies and succession planning.
- Contribute to change management and digital transformation in HR processes.
Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor's degree required; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 510 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 23 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and statutory compliances.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS / HR software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
