Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement HR policies, manage workforce planning, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include resolving employee queries, supporting learning and development initiatives, coordinating payroll inputs with the finance team, and fostering a positive, inclusive work culture aligned with Sundari Silks values.

Qualifications

• Experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Strong skills in HR policy development, compliance with labor laws, and workplace documentation and record-keeping.
• Ability to design and implement training, development, and employee engagement programs.
• Proficiency in HR information systems, basic MS Office tools, and data-driven HR reporting and analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on fairness and confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience as an HR generalist or HR manager, preferably in retail, fashion, or customer-facing industries.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support organizational culture and values.
