About Us:

Studio Underground is a dynamic and fast-growing production house based in Dehradun, working extensively on high-impact government and creative projects. Our team thrives in a fast-paced environment where talent, commitment, and quality matter the most. We are now looking for a skilled HR Recruiter to join our core team and lead our talent acquisition efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end hiring cycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Conduct telephonic screenings, interviews, and coordinate final rounds with relevant stakeholders.
  • Head-hunt active and passive candidates from relevant industries especially from Media, Journalism, Communication, Advertising, and related creative fields.
  • Maintain and update a strong pipeline of potential candidates for various roles (editors, DOPs, writers, producers, coordinators, etc.).
  • Collaborate with team leads to understand hiring needs and team dynamics.
  • Create effective job postings, manage portals, and explore offline hiring avenues.
  • Maintain and manage employee database and records of hiring history and communication.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with new hires to ensure smooth onboarding and retention.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment (preferably in media/production/communications industry).
  • Proven expertise in sourcing, cold calling, screening, and closing candidates independently.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to tap into relevant candidate pools.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of recruitment operations.
  • Familiarity with hiring tools, job portals, and social media sourcing techniques.

Bonus If You Have

  • Previous experience hiring in a creative or production setup.
  • Understanding of the nuances of creative roles and freelance-to-full-time hiring models.
  • Experience with building and maintaining an internal talent pool or database.
