Role Description:

Role type - 6 months fixed contract

The HR Operations Functional Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement of HR systems, data management, and operational processes. This role focuses on maintaining data integrity, supporting HR technologies, managing reporting needs, and driving automation initiatives to enhance HR service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Perform bulk uploads and updates of employee and foundational HR data within HR systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and administer system configurations, including managing dropdown lists and reference data (e.g., schools, prior employers, banking institutions).
  • Governance on foundational data, data structures and picklists.
  • Ensure ongoing data integrity through regular audits, validations, and issue resolution.

Policy & Knowledge Management

  • Upload and maintain HR policies within the HR Content (HRC) platform.
  • Ingest and optimize policy content for HR chatbots and automation tools to ensure accurate and user-friendly employee self-service experiences.

Reporting & Analytics Support

  • Build standard and ad-hoc HR reports as required.
  • Manage reporting distribution lists, ensuring stakeholders receive accurate and timely data.

HR Operations Support & Projects

  • Support and execute HR Operations projects that do not require technical development, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies across HR workflows.
  • Partner with the respective HR Technology teams on HR Ops impacting initiatives

Automation & Process Innovation

  • Serve as a champion for HR automation initiatives, including bots and workflow automation tools.
  • Oversee, monitor, and continuously improve automated processes to enhance scalability and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to identify new automation opportunities within HR Operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or a related role.
  • Experience working with Oracle HCM with proficiency in Proficiency in SQL, HCM Data Loader (HDL), system configuration and reporting tools like OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Strong data management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with reporting tools and data analysis (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Familiarity with HR automation tools, chatbots, or workflow automation is a plus.
