Job Description

About Bikham Healthcare & Provider Passport

Bikham Healthcare is a 20-year-old US and India-based healthcare company operating at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and automation. The company has deep expertise in provider credentialing, insurance enrollments, and revenue cycle management for healthcare organizations across the United States.

Today, Bikham is entering an exciting phase with the growth of its AI-powered platform, Provider Passport, which is designed to automate healthcare administration and significantly reduce provider onboarding timelines. Provider Passport is expected to onboard major health systems in the United States, positioning Bikham as a growing healthcare technology company.

This role sits within Bikham Healthcare and functions as a shared HR service across both business units — Bikham Healthcare's services business and the Provider Passport platform team. You will own people operations for the combined organization rather than a single business line, giving you visibility across the full breadth of the company.

Role Overview

Fixed US night shifts 7pm - 4am

Weekends fixed off

We are seeking a seasoned HR Manager to build, manage, and continuously strengthen people operations across both Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport as the combined organization grows across international markets. You will lead the HR function end-to-end — talent acquisition oversight, employee relations, HR policies and compliance, performance management coordination, and organizational culture development — as a shared service supporting both business units, across the US and India.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role. You will build HR systems and processes that work across two business units and two countries, while also supporting employees and leadership on day-to-day people matters regardless of which team they sit on. The ideal candidate brings strong India-based HR operations experience with exposure to US hiring, compliance, and global workforce management, and will work closely with the founders and leadership team to help both Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport build a high-performance, growth-oriented, and positive work culture.

If you're an HR leader who can operate strategically with executive leadership one moment and handle a hands-on employee relations issue the next — across two connected but distinct business units — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR LEADERSHIP & DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT

Lead and manage the entire HR function as a shared service across both Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport

Build HR systems that support growth and international operations for both business units

Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on people strategy and organizational development across the combined organization

2. TALENT ACQUISITION OVERSIGHT

Oversee the talent acquisition team and ensure efficient, high-quality hiring processes for both Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport roles

Participate directly in recruiting senior and specialized roles, including US-based positions, for either business unit

Ensure both business units attract high-quality talent aligned with the company's culture and growth plans

3. HR POLICIES, SOPs & EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK

Design and implement HR policies, SOPs, and organizational procedures that apply consistently across both business units

Develop and maintain employee handbooks and HR documentation covering staff at both Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport

Ensure HR practices remain compliant with India & US labor regulations, aligned with global standards, and maintain a working knowledge of US compliance requirements

4. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & HR SUPPORT

Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees, regardless of which business unit they sit on

Address employee concerns, queries, and workplace issues professionally and fairly

Foster a shared workplace culture built on transparency, trust, and communication across both teams

5. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT COORDINATION

Participate in designing and implementing a holistic Performance Management system for the Company

Conduct monthly check-ins and surveys with department heads at Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport to assess team performance

Collect and analyze feedback on employee and departmental performance across the combined organization

6. EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT & CULTURE BUILDING

Design and implement employee engagement initiatives and programs that serve both business units, adapting for team-specific needs

Build initiatives that support a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture across the shared organization

Introduce programs that enhance employee motivation, satisfaction, and retention company-wide

7. HR COMPLIANCE & GOVERNANCE

Ensure compliance with India & US labor laws and HR best practices across both business units

Maintain structured HR records and documentation, organized by business unit where required

Support leadership in maintaining a transparent and compliant HR environment for both Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport

Ideal Candidate Profile

Trusted Advisor: You earn the confidence of founders and employees alike, and are sought out for judgment, not just process

Strong working relationship established with the executives and department heads; you understand how the organization actually operates day to day

Baseline understanding of the talent acquisition team's process and current open roles

Immediate employee relations or compliance risks identified and a remediation plan underway

In 90 Days

Updated or newly built employee handbook and core HR policies in place and communicated to the organization

Employee engagement and retention have measurably improved across both business units, with programs in place that the organization can point to

Leadership at both Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport relies on you as the go-to partner for people strategy, not just HR administration

The shared HR function is positioned to scale smoothly as both Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport continue to grow

What We Offer

Direct Access to Leadership

This role will work closely with founders Harman Dhawan (CEO) and Sonia Dhawan (Managing Partner) and will play a key role in shaping the company's people strategy.

Build the HR Foundation of a Growing Company

This role offers the opportunity to strengthen HR systems, policies, and culture across two connected business units — Bikham Healthcare and Provider Passport — as the combined organization enters a strong growth phase.

Entrepreneurial Leadership Culture

Bikham encourages initiative, creativity, and ownership. High-performing team members often grow faster than they would in traditional corporate environments.

Modern Remote Work Environment

Bikham operates as a fully remote organization, allowing team members to work from home while collaborating with teams and clients across the United States and internationally.
