Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for coordinating all India HR activities within HR and talent acquisition, including benefits administration, performance management, culture, and HR compliance with company policies and India Law. Vertech is largely in the business of reselling the time of very talented individuals, and the HR Coordinator has significant responsibility in ensuring that Vertech attracts and retains the best and brightest individuals in the world.

What you'll be doing

Human Resources

  • Support the HR function in educating employees on and enforcing Vertech policies
  • Maintain employee information in ERP/HRIS systems
  • Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface
  • Coordinate and conduct the recruiting process in India like as job postings, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, pre-screening candidates, and sending job offers
  • Monitor and track leaves and leave of absences.
  • Manage India's POSH requirements.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process from offer acceptance through the end of their first week
  • Administer benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, STD, retirement, and PTO
  • Assist in open enrollment activities and work with the Vertech benefits broker on required changes
  • Coordinate the offboarding process from initiating the offboarding workflow to closing it out
  • Assist with the performance review process and updating review forms and the review process
  • Assist with the coordination of engagement surveys
  • Assist with administering VertechCARES the wellness program and drive participation in the program
  • Assist with administering VertechLEARNS, the company learning and development program
  • Work with India Payroll to ensure employee changes in status are updated.
  • Ad Hoc duties as assigned

Recruiting

  • Work with the management team and Human Resources to create and post new requisitions.
  • Review and respond to candidates within our applicant tracking system
  • Phone screen candidates to ensure they meet the basic job requirements and fit the amazing Vertech culture.
  • Coordinate phone and in-person interviews, send Interview agenda's, refine Interview question lists.
  • Source on and off market candidates for current openings as well as develop a pipeline of candidates for future openings.
  • Managing candidates in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including entering interview notes, creating candidate profiles and updating candidate interview status, all within compliance and legal standards
  • Manage job postings in the applicant tracking system (Recruiting by Paycor)
  • Most of the above duties will be for India with some additional support for the US recruiting team.
  • Ad Hoc duties as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Psychology, Organization Leadership or demonstration of equivalent education, skills, and experience preferred
  • Two years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering setting.
