Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist who will manage end-to-end recruitment, recurring HR services, and employee engagement for our organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to own both recruitment and HR operations while leveraging HR technology tools (Zoho People & Zoho Recruit) and adopting AI-driven solutions to build a future-ready HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Talent Acquisition
  • Manage complete end-to-end recruitment activities with a focus on UI/UX and design roles.

  • Assist hiring managers in creating and finalizing Job Descriptions (JDs).

  • Create recruitment assessments for candidates and questionnaires for Hiring Managers on Zoho Recruit.

  • Create and manage job postings across Zoho Recruit, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

  • Source and screen relevant profiles from job boards, portals, and networks.

  • Interview and shortlist candidates; coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.

  • Conduct interviews and manage salary negotiations.

  • Issue offer letters and manage onboarding documentation.

  • Conduct background checks as required.

  • Regularly update Zoho Recruit and maintain recruitment dashboards.

B. HR Operations
  • New Joiner Obligation

    • Issue offer letters and employment agreements.

    • Ensure complete documentation of new hires on time.

  • Onboarding Formalities

    • Conduct online induction programs and orientation sessions for new hires.

  • Employee Career Change Management

    • Manage confirmation, probation, promotions, role changes, salary revisions, and transfers.

    • Maintain timely communication with management and issue relevant letters.

  • Leave & Attendance Management

    • Monthly leave management in line with company policies through Zoho People.

    • Regular tracking and reporting through Zoho People.

    • Review employees attendance (check-in/check-out).

  • Employee Engagement

    • Organize celebrations (work anniversaries, birthdays, festivals).

    • Plan team activities (offsites, get-togethers, CSR activities).

    • Conduct collaboration & team-building initiatives.

    • Facilitate training and development programs.

  • C. Employee Relations
    • Provide HR advice on matters such as discipline, harassment, and performance management.

    • Support managers and employees in conflict resolution and grievance handling.

    D. Liaison
    • Act as a bridge between line managers and employees.

    • Provide monthly payroll inputs to the Accounts team, manage F&F settlement processes, and leave encashment.

    • Address employee queries related to HR policies, compensation, and compliance.

    E. Employer Branding
    • Regularly post company initiatives on LinkedIn and social media.

    • Design and implement employee well-being programs.

    • Conduct employee satisfaction and feedback surveys.

    • Improve employer brand presence on platforms such as Glassdoor.

    • Build an inclusive workplace culture through creative engagement campaigns.


    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Proficient in Zoho People & Zoho Recruit for HR operations and recruitment.

    • Ability to make backend changes, workflows, and system updates in Zoho.

    • Create, streamline, and update HR processes for efficiency and scalability.

    • Tech-savvy with a strong inclination toward AI adoption in HR (automation, analytics, chatbots, AI-based hiring tools).

    • Stay updated on HR tech trends and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.

    • Raise monthly purchase requests to the Accounts team for HR-related expenses.



    Requirements

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Proven experience in Recruitment & HR Generalist functions.

    • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee life cycle management, and compliance.

    • Hands-on experience with Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, and HRMS tools.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.

    • Enthusiastic about exploring HR Tech, AI, and automation tools.


    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.

    • 36 years of relevant experience in recruitment and HR operations.

    • Prior experience in working with startups or fast-paced environments will be an advantage.

    Please note, the position is onsite at Seawoods, Navi Mumbai.
