Position: HR Generalist
Location: India (Remote + On-site flexibility depending on team needs)

Role Summary
The HR Generalist will support all day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance tracking (including PPV systems), attendance & leave administration, policy compliance, and engagement initiatives.
This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a creative and technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for production, management, and support roles.
- Work with department leads to understand staffing needs.
- Manage job postings, screening, interviews, and offer letters.
- Ensure a structured onboarding experience for new hires.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Maintain personnel records, contracts, documentation, and HRIS data.
- Monitor probation periods and ensure timely confirmations or evaluations.
- Support exit processes including offboarding documentation and exit interviews.
3. Performance & PPV System Support
- Assist in monthly PPV calculations and data collection (in coordination with the Technical Manager).
- Ensure fair, consistent application of performance measurement metrics.
- Support the HR Manager with periodic performance review cycles.
4. Employee Relations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, or concerns.
- Promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Support conflict resolution and escalate issues when needed.
5. Attendance, Leave & Compliance
- Oversee attendance tracking, WFH logs, leave balances, and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and Indian labor regulations.
- Assist the HR Manager in updating policies as the company scales.
6. HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain employee files, HR trackers, and shared documents.
- Manage HR-related communication and announcements.
- Support payroll inputs (attendance, leaves, overtime, deductions).
7. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute engagement activities, team events, and wellness initiatives.
- Support initiatives that improve morale and retention.
- Gather feedback through surveys and report insights to leadership.
8. Coordination with Leadership
- Communicate regularly with the HR Manager and senior leadership team.
- Support alignment of HR practices across departments.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in an HR Generalist/Executive role.
- Experience working with production or creative teams (preferred but not mandatory).
Skills
