Role Description The Part-Time Data Analytics & Data Science Trainer for CSR projects in Bengaluru will design and deliver classroom-based training sessions focused on foundational and intermediate concepts in data analytics and data science. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating teaching materials, conducting lectures and practical labs, and guiding learners through hands-on projects and case studies. The trainer will assess learner progress through assignments, quizzes, and project evaluations, and provide constructive feedback and mentoring to support skill development. The role also involves collaborating with the CSR and academic coordination teams to align training content with project objectives and industry requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular presence at the designated training locations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of data analytics fundamentals, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and interpreting business insights.
- Hands-on experience with data science concepts such as data preprocessing, basic machine learning techniques, and model evaluation.
- Proficiency with common data tools and technologies (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python/R for analytics, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau).
- Demonstrated training, teaching, or corporate coaching experience, preferably with students or early-career professionals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, training materials, and assessments aligned with defined learning outcomes.
- Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills, with sensitivity to diverse learner backgrounds in CSR-focused programs.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Previous exposure to BFSI, IT, or ITES domains, or familiarity with applied analytics in these sectors, is an advantage.
