Role : Inside Sales Specialist

Department: Commercial Account Management

We are looking for a dynamic retention specialist to help us retain our core customer base. In this role, you will deal directly with our customers(internal and external) to find out what issues they are facing, how we may improve our process or services, and how to retain their business.

To be successful as a retention specialist, you should have a persuasive attitude, excellent customer relationship skills, and a passion for sales. Ultimately, a top-class retention specialist is able to improve sales by creating lasting bonds with customers and sales partners.

Retention Specialist Responsibilities:

Communicating with customers and sales representatives.
Analyzing customer behavior and process.
Gathering information about customer complaints.
Developing aggressive retention strategies based on findings (investigating).
Negotiating with customers to renew contracts and retain business.
Meeting with the sales team to propose customer retention solutions.
Writing and presenting customer behavior/ findings reports.
Building positive relationships with customers and business associates and internal teams.

Excellent communication skills across multiple channels (e.g., virtual meetings, phone, and email)

Good interpersonal skills

Experience in digital/social media sales

Experience in marketing or making recommendations to marketers

Knowledge of how internet advertising technology works and the ability to explain it in layman's terms

Experience building relationships with top marketing decision-makers

Proven ability in activating and retaining new business

Proven ability to manage a sizable volume of clients/accounts

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Proven ability to navigate change

Retention Specialist Requirements:

10+2 / 10+3 , Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or related field.
2+ years experience in a similar role.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong conflict resolution and investigation skills.
In-depth knowledge of sales and customer journey.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy and patience.
