Job Location: Chennai
MEDICAL CODING -Senior coding Executive & Coding Executive
JOB DESCRIPTION
Must be able to recognize key details in a patient record in order to apply the appropriate codes
Reviews the documentation in patient's medical records and translates the same into universally accepted, industry standard medical codes
Understand basic coding guidelines and ability to interpret Super bills & Medical records for ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS
To code charts based on standard coding tools (AAPC coding manuals & Super coder)
To check with Team Leader for any client updates
Meeting all set productivity and quality targets including TAT
Identify issues and escalate the same to the Team Leader/Manager
Update Production logs
Adherence to company policies, rules and regulations
To follow quality processes using checklists
Adherence to HIPAA guidelines
Responsible for complying with all QMS and ISMS Policies and procedures
Eligibility
Should have experience in ED Coding
Life science graduates
Good knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology & Medical Terminologies
1 to 2 years experience in medical coding
Basic keyboard skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: 25,000.00 - 50,000.00 per month
