Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves developing and implementing sports marketing strategies, establishing and nurturing key partnerships, identifying sponsorship opportunities, and overseeing brand activations. Leading a team, the individual is expected to create and execute innovative campaigns that drive brand awareness, engage target audiences, and maximize ROI for sports-related marketing initiatives. This is a market-building + revenue ownership role, not a standard sales or marketing position.
Core Responsibilities
• Own and drive all commercial revenue generation in India
• Identify, pitch, negotiate, and close strategic brand partnerships
• Develop naming rights and integrated sponsorship opportunities
• Build long-term relationships with brands, agencies, and media partners
• Define and execute the India market entry and growth strategy
• Work closely with global team to localise the Club's commercial approach
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a senior professional with:
• 8–15 years experience in sports marketing / sponsorship sales / brand partnerships
• Strong track record of closing high-value deals in sports/media/entertainment
• Deep understanding of the Indian sports sponsorship ecosystem
• Existing relationships across CMOs, media agencies, and brand decision-makers
• Experience from sports agencies, leagues, clubs, broadcasters, or brand-side sponsorship teams
