Delhi Public School is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Sports to lead and manage the sports department, handling all 5 DPS branches in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports and physical education, with proven leadership skills to inspire both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sports faculty and coaches across branches.
- Develop and implement a structured sports curriculum and training programs.
- Organize inter-house, inter-school, state, and national-level tournaments.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of sports facilities and equipment.
- Identify and nurture student talent to participate in higher-level competitions.
- Collaborate with school leadership to promote health, fitness, and teamwork.
- Drive new initiatives to strengthen the overall sports culture in the schools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Physical Education,/ P/HD in Sports Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1015 years of experience in sports education, coaching, or management.
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
- Experience in working with the CBSE curriculum preferred.
- Experience in managing large-scale sports events and programs preferred.
