A leading global chemical manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Head of Operations – APAC to oversee operations across multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
This is a regional leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and distribution while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing and operations across multiple APAC sites.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop country operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities.
- Develop and execute regional operations strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage operational KPIs, budgets, and performance across the region.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and HSE requirements.
- Partner closely with commercial, engineering, finance, and executive leadership teams to support business growth.
Requirements
- Extensive leadership experience within chemical manufacturing, process industries, industrial gases, specialty chemicals, or similar manufacturing environments.
- Proven success leading multi-site and multi-country operations across the APAC region.
- Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated experience leading organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Advanced qualifications are advantageous.
