Role Overview
Fabheads is seeking a strategic and execution-driven Head of Human Resources to lead the end-to-end HR function across engineering and manufacturing teams.
This role involves building HR systems from scratch, shaping culture, ensuring compliance, strengthening talent pipelines, and scaling people processes in a fast-growing deep-tech organisation.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute HR strategy aligned with business goals.
- Build scalable HR systems to support rapid growth.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and culture initiatives.
- Drive organisational development and performance excellence.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead hiring across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate roles.
- Build talent pipelines and standardise recruitment practices.
- Strengthen campus hiring, leadership hiring, and internships.
HR Operations & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee onboarding, confirmation, reviews, promotions, and exits.
- Implement HRMS for process automation.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and audit readiness.
Performance Management & Culture
- Build and run a strong performance management framework.
- Drive engagement, recognition, and learning culture.
- Promote innovation, ownership, and accountability.
Compliance & HR Governance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Oversee PF, ESI, POSH, gratuity, and statutory audits.
- Maintain HR policies and employee handbook.
Employee Relations
- Handle grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure safe, inclusive, and transparent workplace practices.
Learning & Development
- Identify capability gaps and run training programs.
- Drive leadership development and internal mobility.
Required Skills & Experience
- 812 years in HR with 3+ years in an HR Head/leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, robotics, or industrial setups.
- Strong expertise in compliance and HR operations.
- Proven ability to scale teams and build HR frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
- High empathy, ownership, and adaptability.
Good-to-Have
- Startup or scale-up experience.
- Knowledge of HRMS tools and analytics.
- Experience with technical hiring and factory HR.
- Exposure to multi-location workforce management.
