Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Developing and implementing financial strategies, long-term financial plans, and policies to align with the company's overall goals.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Overseeing the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, including tracking budget and accounting information like billing and collections.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and using data analysis to advise on profitability and financial performance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (like IFRS), and tax laws. Ensure GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, and statutory corporate compliances.
  • Accounting : Manage and supervise accounting departments, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitoring and maintaining sufficient cash balances and optimizing cash flow.
  • Costing & Inventory Management Oversee product costing, BOM costing, overhead absorption, and variance analysis, Oversee product costing, BOM costing, overhead absorption, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure accurate valuation of RM, WIP, and FG inventory; supervise stock audits and reconciliations
  • Risk Mitigation: Identifying and analyzing financial risks, such as potential cost overruns or schedule delays, and collaborating with the project team to mitigate them before they escalate
  • Capex & Project Finance: Evaluate and monitor capital expenditure, ROI, and asset capitalization. Support feasibility analysis for new machinery/process improvement projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Acting as a crucial link between the finance department, project managers, on-site teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth financial operations and clear communication.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team across plant and corporate functions. Collaborate with production, stores, purchase, HR, and supply chain teams.
