Head of Department Law

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Law Department in academic and administrative matters.
• Plan, implement, and monitor teaching, learning, and research activities.
• Ensure compliance with UGC, BCI, and institutional regulations.
• Mentor faculty members and guide students in academic and research activities.
• Develop curriculum, organize seminars, workshops, and legal awareness programs.
• Promote research publications, consultancy, and academic collaborations.
• Prepare departmental reports, budgets, and accreditation-related documentation.
• Coordinate examinations, admissions, and other departmental activities.
• Foster industry, judiciary, and legal fraternity connections for student development.

Qualification:

• Ph.D. in Law (Mandatory)
• LL.M. (Master of Laws)
• NET/SET Qualified (Preferred/As per UGC norms)

Experience:

• Minimum 5–6 years of teaching experience in a recognized law institution.
• Experience in academic administration, curriculum planning, and departmental management is preferred.
