We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Content to lead our editorial team and drive the content strategy across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of B2B media, exceptional editorial skills, and a proven track record of creating compelling and engaging content that meets the needs of our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and audience needs.
Oversee the editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content across all channels (website, newsletters, social media, events, etc.).
Identify and explore new content formats and channels to increase audience engagement and reach.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and mentor a team of editors, writers, and content creators, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Recruit, train, and manage freelance contributors and industry experts.
Content Creation & Curation:
Ensure the production of authoritative, accurate, and compelling content that adheres to the highest journalistic standards.
Oversee the curation of industry news, trends, and insights, providing valuable information to our audience.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales) to create content that supports business objectives.
Audience Engagement & Growth:
Utilize analytics to understand audience behavior and preferences, optimizing content to drive engagement and growth.
Implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and reach.
Develop and execute strategies for audience development and retention.
Brand & Voice Management:
Maintain and evolve the brand voice, ensuring consistency across all content.
Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in content creation and management, preferably in B2B media.
Proven experience in leading and managing editorial teams.
Strong background in digital content strategy and SEO.
