Job Description

Responsibilities:-

  • Drive the demand management process consistent with Class A S&OP and Demand Planning Process Quality guidelines in assigned country provide guidance and leadership in monthly consensus cross-functional demand meetings to support both S&OP (18-24 months) and RvsCC (5-year) processes incorporate learnings and focus on continuous forecasting process improvement.

  • Develop & strengthen collaborative planning / Key Account Planning to support a business model run by Key Accounts (KA) and Target Profitable Market Segments (TPMS)

  • Incorporate marketing meeting outputs into the demand plan. Implement a methodical forecasting approach that effectively captures assumptions changes, risks and opportunities, and uses multiple views to converge to a viable consensus demand plan. Ensure a robust handoff to Supply Planning to promote an Advantaged Supply Chain that will ensure product availability and optimize working capital investment.

  • Facilitate a demand planning culture that ensures that monthly forecast submission deadlines are respected, which drives key performance objectives of forecast accuracy and sales plan stability

  • Employ an effective demand segmentation strategy to focus on key products and key customers while using statistical forecast as basis for the rest of the volume

  • Feed the demand input into the country and regional S&OP process provide fact-based advice to business to facilitate country decisions on allocation of available supply. Propagate the demand signals into the organization (Supply, Finance, Procurement, Sales and Marketing, Product Management) at monthly & weekly levels

  • Drive demand planning business process excellence through standardized and meaningful processes and aids, aligned with global and regional standards.

  • Develop and inculcate in the system a continuous improvement mindset incorporating the latest in technology in direct consultation with the Regional COE

Requirements:-

  • 10+ years experience in Demand Planning and / or Sales Operations & Marketing, inclusive of 2-5 years of solid experience in leading the demand planning function in mid- to large-scale organizations of repute

  • Knowledge in integrated supply chain systems, SAP APO DP & SNP, exposure to Tableau is advantageous

  • Excellent understanding of forecasting models and techniques, supply chain processes which are commonly used in the industry

  • Good inter-personal communication skills to work with cross functional teams

  • Exposure to tire/automobile industry will be advantageous #LI-DD1
