Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a diverse menu featuring Mediterranean and European cuisines.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff, including training and supervising team members.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to plan and implement special events and promotions.
- Monitor food costs and ensure budget compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-20 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably with Mediterranean and European cuisines.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, including grilling, roasting, and sauting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to create and innovate menu items based on seasonal ingredients.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
