Responsibilities

  • Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training and supervising team members.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to plan and implement special events and promotions.
  • Monitor food costs and ensure budget compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10-20 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably with Mediterranean and European cuisines.
  • Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, including grilling, roasting, and sauting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to create and innovate menu items based on seasonal ingredients.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
