A cafe is a small restaurant focusing on caffeinated drinks such as classic drip coffee, cappuccinos, espresso, and tea AND fast food items . The food is typically straightforward, with a selection of sandwiches, pizza , burger, momos, and other goods that customers order at the counter and take to their tables.
JOB TITLE:- *HEAD CHEF AS AN INTERN*
JOB DESCRIPTION:- As Head Chef you will oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchens and be able to manage, lead, motivate and develop the team. Responsibilities will include menu planning, managing the financial KPI's enabling business success, purchasing, health and safety including food hygiene procedures.
Job responsibilities:-
Chefs and head cooks oversee the daily food preparation at restaurants and other places where food is served. They direct kitchen staff and handle any food-related concerns.
# Lead, mentor, and manage the culinary team.
# Develop and plan menus and daily specials.
# Create prep lists for the kitchen crew.
Manage food costs and inventory.
# Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
# Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
# Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas.
# Interview, vet, and select kitchen staff.
Schedule staff and assist in human resources processes as needed.
Salary will be Rs.5000/- to Rs.8000/-
