This is your role. What part will you play
Fully responsible for execution of HW engineering project in process automation field.
Cabinet Engineering drawings preparation using Siemens engineering tool COMOS.
Preparation of detailed IO list, heat load calculation, cabinet FVFP, General arrangement
drawing, Wiring drawings, Single line diagram, BOM, Network Drawings
Preparation of System Architecture
Selection of IO Modules, Field Termination Assemblies and Barriers as per requirement.
Proposals based on customer inputs, IO list.
Coordinating with International client regarding project status and delivery.
Basic knowledge of Siemens systems.
Profile (Experience, Qualification, Inter-Personal Skills)
Potential candidate with more than 5 years of relevant experience as an Automation Hardware Design Engineer should have completed/handled projects independently. with following functions:
Hardware Design, engineering, preparation of Automation Cabinet Engineering drawings
using any engineering tool for process automation projects,
Siemens Automation System Hardware & Software Knowledge including communication
and field devices i.e. PCS7 AS, S7-400, ET200M, ET200SPHA, ET200SP, ET200S, ET200iSP IO Series Hardware
Knowledge of Competitor tools like AutoCAD, EPlan, COMOS
Basic knowledge of PCS7
Technical specification, Inspection, Testing, FAT, Site support, as built and as commissioned
drawings of assigned projects on time.
Good experience of cabinet design in field of process automation projects.
Understanding of P&I diagrams, IO Lists, Heat load calculations, automation concepts and
interpretation
COMOS Database structure, Plant Automation Accelerator
Efficient working style, in time delivery, excellent quality and simplifications
Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Industrial Automation Protocol : Profibus, Profinet, Modbus RTU/TCP,OPC
System Design & P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) drawing creation using COMOS
software.
Design of loop drawings, Wiring Diagram, Loop Schematic Drawing Using LOOPGEN
Software, Bill of Materials, Preparation DCS Cabinet Layouts, General Arrangement and
Internal Arrangement for following cabinets
o System Cabinet
o Marshalling Cabinet
o Power Distribution Board Cabinet
o Server Cabinet
o Network Cabinet
o Auxiliary Cabinet
Preparation of System Architecture
Selection of IO Modules, Field Termination Assemblies and Barriers as per requirement.
Cross Marshalling
Proposals based on customer inputs, IO list.
Coordinating with International client regarding COMOS Development
Basic knowledge of PCS7
