We at Coforge are hiring for Guidewire Policy Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize solutions in Guidewire Policy Center.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and configure Gosu-based business rules, UI components, workflows, and integrations.
- Work on PolicyCenter data model extensions and product model configuration.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate Guidewire applications with external systems using Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Support production issues and provide timely resolution.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–12 years of experience in Guidewire development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Proficiency in Gosu programming language.
- Experience in Guidewire configuration (PCF, workflows, rules, product model).
- Knowledge of integration patterns (REST/SOAP, messaging).
- Familiarity with Java/J2EE technologies.
- Strong understanding of insurance domain (P&C preferred).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
