Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Developer with 710 years of experience, specializing in Rating and PolicyCenter Configuration, to join our Acceleration Center team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in the Guidewire suite and hands-on experience configuring and customizing PolicyCenter to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter, with a strong focus on Rating engine and Product Model configurations.
- Configure business rules, data models, workflows, and user interfaces to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu programming language.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 710 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on development in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Strong expertise in Guidewire Rating engine configuration.
- Proficient in Gosu programming language.
- Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter product modeling and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Integration (web services, messaging, plugins).
- Good understanding of insurance domain, specifically P&C (Property and Casualty).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire Certification(s) in PolicyCenter or related modules.
- Experience with Guidewire Digital Portal or Cloud platform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven, Jenkins).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
