We are seeking an experienced Grit Blaster to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grit blasting operations, ensuring high-quality surface preparation and finishing.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain grit blasting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare surfaces for blasting by cleaning and masking as needed.
- Select appropriate grit materials for various blasting applications.
- Monitor and adjust blasting parameters to achieve desired results.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on blasting equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in grit blasting or related field.
- Proficiency in operating grit blasting machines and related equipment.
- Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in abrasive blasting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
