We are seeking an experienced Grit Blaster to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in abrasive blasting, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared for coating and painting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by using abrasive materials to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants.
- Operate and maintain grit blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document work performed and report any issues to supervisors.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in grit blasting or a related field.
- Proficient in operating grit blasting equipment and tools.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to abrasive blasting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
