Graphic Designer - Product & Packaging (D2C Brand)

Location: Mumbai (on-site)

Type: Full-time

Salary range: INR 40k - 60K (entirely depending on experience and profile)

We are looking for a designer with real ideas, not just execution speed. Someone who understands why a layout works, not only how to build one. This role sits close to the founder and close to production. You will be trusted with real creative judgment early, and you will be expected to earn more of it over time.

What you'll own

• Take a brief and turn it into finished, production-ready artwork or layout
• Design packaging, inserts, and launch assets with a clear point of view, from concept through print production
• Build website assets, ad creatives, and social visuals that stay on-brand
• Contribute ideas during concept development, not just execute after concepts are locked
• Support shoots, mockups, and product visualisation
• Keep design systems consistent across everything shipped

What we're looking for

• 0 to 3 years of experience in design. Agency, D2C brand, or design studio background all work
• A portfolio that shows thinking, not just polished work
• Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, composition, and colour
• Genuine interest in art, craft, and physical products, not just digital and social work
• Fast, clean execution in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

Background we value

• NID, NIFT, or a similar background, backed by real portfolio 
• basic illustration or animation skills are a plus
• an eye for luxury and premium branding 
• Experience in packaging design, brand identity, or print production is a strong plus

This role is NOT for you if

• you need a fixed brief and extremely detailed instructions before you can start
• your experience is mostly digital, social, or template-based design
• you see Canva or templated tools as your main workflow
• you need frequent validation before moving forward
