Graphic Designer & Video Editor

Role & Responsibilities

As a Graphic Designer & Video Editor, you'll be responsible for:

• Creating Diverse Visual & Video Content: You'll design and produce a wide range of graphics for product visuals, web icons, and various advertising campaigns (Facebook, Google, carousel, Criteo ads, etc.). Your work will also include web banners (static and rich), flyers, and hoarding designs. Additionally, you'll be responsible for editing and producing concept videos, promotional videos, and other video content as needed.
• Collaborating for Seamless Integration: Work closely with our Digital Marketing team, as well as internal and external developers, to ensure all designs and video content are aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly, accessible, and meet current web standards. You'll ensure proper implementation within web environments and maintain the consistency and integrity of the creative vision.
• Translating Concepts into Visuals: Study design briefs to fully understand project requirements and conceptualize compelling visuals and video narratives based on those needs.
• Applying Design Principles: Select and utilize appropriate colors, layouts, typography, and video editing techniques (e.g., transitions, effects, sound design) for each graphic and video to achieve optimal visual appeal and impact.
• Ensuring Quality and Consistency: Guarantee that all final graphics, layouts, and video content are visually appealing, adhere strictly to brand guidelines, and consistently meet project objectives.
• Providing Design & Video Support: Offer comprehensive design and video assistance to other branches for camp graphics, banners, flyers, promotional videos, and other offline promotional materials.
• Contributing to Team Success: Take on other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the design and marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

Skills

We're looking for candidates who possess:

• Conceptual and Leadership Skills: The ability to present design and video concepts effectively and guide internal teams toward optimal visual solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard design and video editing software and technologies, including Photoshop, CorelDraw, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and potentially other video editing suites.
• Design & Video Acumen: A keen eye for aesthetics, meticulous attention to detail in both graphic design and video production, and a strong understanding of visual storytelling.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to articulate design and video choices clearly and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Work Ethic: The ability to work methodically, manage multiple graphic and video projects concurrently, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, Film Production, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of successful professional design and video editing experience, ideally gained within a print/digital team for a product-driven business.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including illustrations, graphics, and a reel or samples of video editing projects.
