Role Purpose
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality, consistent, and commercially effective visual communication for Clean & Crafted across digital marketing, Q-commerce, retail, packaging, and consumer touchpoints.
The role requires more than aesthetic design. The designer must understand the business objective behind every creative and develop communication that helps improve product discovery, consumer understanding, conversion and brand consistency.
The individual will work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and closely with the Performance Marketing Executive/Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Marketing Creatives
- Design creatives for Meta, Google, and other digital advertising platforms.
- Create static posts, carousels, stories, banners, thumbnails, and short-form visual assets.
- Produce multiple creative variations for performance testing.
- Adapt creatives across platform specifications and formats.
- Develop product-led, occasion-led, and benefit-led communication.
- Ensure designs are optimised for mobile-first consumption.
2. Quick-Commerce Creatives
- Develop product images, banners, sponsored listing creatives, and promotional assets for Quick-Commerce.
- Ensure product benefits and differentiators are clearly communicated within platform limitations.
- Adapt visuals based on platform guidelines and campaign requirements.
- Maintain updated SKU images, product information, and visual consistency across platforms.
- Support seasonal campaigns, offers, bundles, and product launches.
3. Retail and Trade Marketing Materials
- Design point-of-sale materials including:
- Shelf strips
- Shelf talkers
- Posters
- Standee designs
- Tent cards
- Product information cards
- Retail display material
- Develop retailer presentation material and sales-support collateral.
- Create communication for MT chains and Premium GT stores.
- Ensure designs are practical, printable, and cost-efficient.
4. Packaging and Product Communication
- Support packaging adaptations, corrections, and new SKU development.
- Coordinate with printers and packaging vendors when required.
- Maintain accurate versions of packaging artwork.
- Ensure mandatory product information is incorporated correctly as approved by the relevant team.
- Develop consumer inserts, product education cards, and nutritional communication.
- Maintain consistency across all product packaging and supporting materials.
5. Brand Identity and Consistency
- Follow and maintain Clean & Crafted's visual identity.
- Ensure consistency in typography, colour, imagery, icons, and layout.
- Maintain an organised repository of logos, fonts, templates, product photographs and master files.
- Develop standard templates for recurring business requirements.
- Protect the premium, honest, and nutrition-focused visual language of the brand.
6. Creative Collaboration
- Convert marketing briefs into effective visual outputs.
- Work with the Performance Marketing Executive/Manager to develop testable creative concepts.
- Participate in campaign planning and creative reviews.
- Incorporate feedback quickly without compromising design quality.
- Analyse which creatives perform well and use those learnings in future work.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, printers, and freelancers when required.
7. Content Production Support
- Assist in planning and directing product photography and short-form video shoots.
- Edit basic product images and short videos.
- Create simple motion graphics and animated content where required.
- Prepare visual storyboards for reels and digital campaigns.
- Repurpose existing content efficiently across multiple channels.

Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably with FMCG, food, D2C, retail, Q-commerce or consumer brands.
- Strong command of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of Canva and presentation design tools.
- Basic video editing and motion graphics capability preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital design, print production, and packaging artwork.
- Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into commercially effective communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and formats.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating consumer-facing design work.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience designing for food, health, nutrition, or lifestyle brands.
- Familiarity with Q-commerce design formats.
- Experience working on packaging and retail point-of-sale materials.
- Understanding of print specifications, colour formats, and vendor-ready files.
- Ability to work in a lean team and execute independently.
