We are seeking a Golang Backend Developer / Tech Lead to join our engineering team. This role requires strong technical leadership and hands-on backend expertise to build scalable, event-driven systems, API connectors, and robust cloud-native services. You will collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to deliver high-performance solutions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and integrations using Golang.
- Build API fetchers, processors, and connectors for external platforms.
- Implement secure authentication flows (OAuth2, API tokens, webhooks).
- Develop and optimize queue-based ingestion pipelines with checkpointing/watermarking.
- Transform and normalize raw data (JSON, XML, CSV) into structured schemas.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage services on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
- Contribute to observability and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Mentor team members and support the overall engineering delivery.
Required Skills:
- 78 years of backend development experience, with 35 years in Golang.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency in data transformation, schema mapping, and queue-based ingestion systems.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth2, token handling, and error management.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.
