Job Description

  1. Job Purpose

The role is responsible to manage the capex planning, capacity augmentation and creation at Mid mile , evaluate capability projects for capex allocation, cross functional team governance on spend vs revenue etc.

  1. Key Accountabilities / Key Result Areas

  • Mid Mile strategy
  • Device strategy to enable the business teams in enterprise by proactively and need based capacity creation at NLD, Mid Mile , Data Centres etc.
  • Ensure Capex availability for Network Infra required for business enablement
  • Ensure forecasting and planning of hardware and capex for win based requirements
  • Cross functional governance to ensure optimal utilisation of capex to revenue generation.

Desired Competencies/ Skills

Impactful skills to manage the vendors in terms of negotiations

Knowledge on the fixed line technologies, techno commercial aspects.

Ability to identify and enable capacity venues as in data centres , create NLD capacities etc. as per need with good understanding of underlining technologies as in DWDM, SNCP, etc.

Educational Qualifications

  • Science / Engg graduates preferred

  1. Key Performance Indicators (Max 5)
  1. Capacity creation as per the DB forecast
  2. Capex planning and delivery within 7 days of the request
  3. Opex savings by 10% of the Off net cost as on date.
  4. Product innovation - at least one new innovation in the existing product stack.
