Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented Generative AI Engineer with strong expertise in FastAPI development to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy scalable backend systems powering next-generation generative AI applications. You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver innovative AI-driven solutions at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and expose secure, scalable RESTful APIs for AI-powered services.
- Implement prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and embedding techniques to improve model performance.
- Integrate and manage vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB) for efficient AI data retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model and API deployment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend & AI systems for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and backend technologies.
- Document APIs, workflows, and system architecture for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Python & FastAPI.
- Proven experience in deploying Generative AI models (LLMs, GANs, VAEs) in production.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.
- Experience integrating AI models with RESTful APIs (authentication & authorization).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for large-scale AI deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
