As a Cloud-Native & Java Full Stack Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance financial platforms, enabling innovation across Banking, Payments, Lending, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, and FinTech ecosystems.
Your Role
You will be responsible for defining and driving architecture strategy for next-generation financial technology platforms. Working closely with business, product, security, and engineering teams, you will lead enterprise modernization initiatives, establish platform engineering best practices, and build resilient cloud-native solutions that meet the highest standards of scalability, security, and performance.
In this role, you will:
- Define and execute architecture strategies for cloud-native platforms and digital financial applications.
- Lead modernization of legacy applications into microservices-based and containerized architectures.
- Architect end-to-end solutions spanning Java backend services, React front-end applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.
- Design highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable systems aligned with financial industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish platform engineering practices, DevOps frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and observability standards.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures leveraging modern messaging platforms and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with business, product, security, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-scale financial solutions.
- Drive cloud adoption, platform transformation, and application modernization initiatives across complex enterprise environments.
- Define architecture governance processes, technology standards, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across strategic enterprise programs.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities and customer experience.
Your Profile
Mandatory Skills
- 14–17 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and enterprise platform development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging and streaming platforms.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and container orchestration technologies.
- Strong experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Platform Engineering.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance optimization, and application resiliency.
- Experience designing secure enterprise applications with strong governance and compliance controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking, Payments, FinTech, Lending, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Insurance domains.
- Knowledge of digital banking platforms, payment gateways, financial transaction processing, and fraud prevention systems.
- Understanding of financial regulatory compliance, governance standards, and data security requirements.
- Experience building SaaS and multi-tenant cloud-native platforms.
- Exposure to cloud transformation and platform modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, AI-powered automation, or intelligent financial solutions would be an added advantage.
- Industry certifications in Cloud Computing, Kubernetes, Architecture, or DevOps technologies.
