GCP DevOps Engineer

A GCP DevOps Engineer designs, implements, and manages cloud-based systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), collaborating with developers and IT staff to automate deployments, optimize resources, and ensure high application availability, while also monitoring system performance and implementing CI/CD best practices.

What You'll Do:

• Test, build, design, deployment, support, and ability to maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery process using tools like Jenkins, maven Git, etc.
• Must know how to choose the best tools and technologies which best fits the business needs.
• Ability to automate, test and deploy the code and monitor.
• Work in close coordination with the development and operations team such that the cloud infrastructure is in line with performance according to the customer's expectations.
• Work from a client office in Navi Mumbai 5 days a week.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Required experience Level of 6 to 8 years in DevOps.
• Good hands-on experience on Google Cloud Platform (must).
• Participate in on-call rotations & contribute to incident activities on Google cloud, troubleshooting & resolving issues promptly.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in Cloud and Linux environment
• Mandatory Hands-on DevOps tools: Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes(GKE), Helm,CI-CD
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes (Change/Incident/Problem Mgmt)
• Ability to guide on Cloud best practices & assist in cost optimization to avoid unnecessary spending of cloud resources on Google cloud Platform.
• Prepare and maintain Knowledge documentation and SOPs.
• DB knowledge would be an advantage.
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code through Terraform or Ansible.
• Jenkins/Bamboo for CI/CD.
• Experience in Troubleshooting Microservices.
• Deployment of Java applications
• Proficiency in Programming Languages. Scala / Python - Must Have; Other Scripting languages.
• Experience working in Agile projects, SDLC
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
