Your work profile

Deloitte is looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to build modern data pipelines, data lakes, and analytics platforms supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

• 4 to 9 years of experience
• 4+ years of experience with GCP expertise.
• GCP: Big Query, optimization and cost management.
• Data Engineering Tooling
• Data pipeline development
• Advanced SQL
• DBT Cloud experience (models, SCDs, tests, macros)
• DBT governance
• Airflow workflows , GitHub, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, Terraform or CloudFormation
• Data quality frameworks
• Airflow optimization
• Python
• Data modelling (facts/dimensions, SCDs)
• Cloud security and IAM best practices
• BigQuery tuning
• Cross-cloud pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Education - B. tech / BE in Computer Science or Information Technology
