Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced FX Settlements Analyst to join our Shared Services team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) Trade Processing, Settlements, Reconciliation, and a strong understanding of the Trade Life Cycle within the Capital Markets/Investment Banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process FX trades from confirmation through settlement.
  • Handle trade confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Manage Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) setup and maintenance.
  • Process and monitor SWIFT payment messages (MT202, MT210).
  • Handle CLS (Continuous Linked Settlement) transactions.
  • Perform post-settlement reconciliation and resolve settlement exceptions.
  • Prepare MIS reports and operational dashboards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, counterparties, and custodians to resolve trade-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 2–4 years of experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
  • Hands-on experience in FX Trade Processing and FX Settlements.
  • Good understanding of the Trade Life Cycle.
  • Experience with SSI Setup.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messages (MT202, MT210).
  • Experience with CLS settlements.
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
  • Experience in MIS Reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with APAC, EMEA, US, or Japan markets.
  • Exposure to products such as Equities, Derivatives, or Fixed Income.
  • Knowledge of process improvement tools such as Alteryx, Excel Macros, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
