Responsibilities :
Develop and implement functional safety concepts (FSC) and strategy for automotive electronic systems
Conduct safety analyses such as Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), SOTIF and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential hazards and define safety requirements.
Define safety goals, safety mechanisms, and safety architectures for electronic systems based on ISO 26262 and other relevant standards.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software engineers, and system architects to ensure functional safety requirements are integrated into the design and development process.
Guide and support the development teams in implementing safety measures and verifying compliance with safety standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct reviews and facilitate audits of safety-related documentation, including safety plans, safety cases, and safety analyses reports.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on functional safety topics to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes related to automotive functional safety.
