Fund Accounting Manager

Role: Manager – Fund Accounting

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of fund accountants.
• Review and sign off on NAV calculations, financial statements, and investor reports.
• Oversee fund valuations, reconciliations, audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Authorize payments and fund-related transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, operational controls, and client agreements.
• Liaise with fund managers, investors, auditors, tax advisors, administrators, and custodians.
• Drive automation initiatives and process improvements.
• Manage onboarding, workflow planning, and year-end audit coordination.
• Support team development, performance management, and training initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in fund accounting or financial services.
• Strong hedge fund ,Private equtity accounting experience.
• 2–3 years of experience managing or leading large teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of:
• Advent Geneva
• Investran
• Other accounting platforms
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
