Job Description

As a functional Product manager, you'll be a part of the PTP (Procure to Pay) product team who manages the function with a team of functional product owners working towards the shared common goals and mission supporting larger business objectives organization in a numerous ways, working cross functionally but not limited to the other work streams such as Product Platforms, Service delivery, BPS, BPM, Engineering & tech teams supporting business objectives for global activities linked to the PTP Finance business outcomes.

As an FPM, you will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement and delivery of the PTP- L&S- PO to Pay roadmap for organization, much focused on the MBM (Managed by Maersk), Middle Mile/Last Mile domain from the PTP standpoint. This role requires a deep understanding of transportation logistics, technology, and product management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Platforms, IT, operations, and other stakeholders, to ensure the MBM, MM/LM meets the evolving needs of the business. This role is critical for optimizing transportation logistics, improving financial process automation & efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of the organization's supply chain management.

The Product Manager drives global projects and engages with global operations, finance, and procurement communities across various levels, and country clusters, to ensure aligned approach to product developments sizing MVPs or enhancements that influences Product portfolio and functions to ensure required facilitation for the execution teams, optimum standardization and to ensure required support and co-ordination across functions and to actively drive automation around process whenever needed.

Portfolio, Program & Project Management includes roles focused on delivering organizational projects/programs. Responsibilties include: developing program/project management best practices/templates monitoring dependencies across multiple inter-related projects gathering and reporting consolidated project status and financial information to leadership. May serve as a central governing body to review/audit adherence to methodologies, budgets, and timing. And may provide full staffing and management for the organization's major projects/programs. Professional stream includes those who are individual contributors with main emphasis on applying technical/discipline knowledge rather than managing people to achieve results - although coaching/mentoring less experienced staff, informal supervisory responsibilities, or overseeing work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and program are common. Individual work ranges from setting objectives and delivering on own work responsibilities to being a leading expert within a given field and influencing long term tactical decisions of the organization. Progression within this stream reflects increasing depth of professional knowledge, project management capability, and the ability to influence others. A colleague at this level has in-depth knowledge and experience in a functional area. The colleague routinely applies subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues operating within practices and procedures covered by precedents or well-defined policies. A colleague at this level handles most situations independently, receives minimal guidance, but will seek advice, guidance and support on more complex or non-routine topcis. The colleague understands the overall nature of the business and the interdependencies between own and other functions. Leaders at this level are accountable for performance and results in teams of less experienced professionals, frontline workers and admins, and will adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
