Full Stack Engineer

This role is for one of our clients who is looking for an Full-Stack Developer [India].

You will be part of advanced analytics and data intelligence platform that harnesses a diverse portfolio of 50+ alternative datasets to deliver real-time market intelligence and customer insights. Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the team within the Pyxis platform. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that power advanced analytics and reporting capabilities used by global clients. We are looking for developers with 1–2 years of experience with strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular. We also need experience building backend services using Node.js and NestJS.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable frontend and backend solutions for the Pyxis platform application.

• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.

• Develop secure and efficient APIs and backend services to support business requirements.

• Translate product requirements and technical designs into high-quality, production-ready code.

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

2. Frontend Engineering

• Develop interactive user experiences using Angular and TypeScript.

• Implement reusable components and maintain consistency across the application.

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.

• Collaborate with UX and Product teams to enhance usability and customer experience.

• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend defects and edge cases.

3. Backend Engineering

• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and NestJS.

• Develop and maintain business logic and integrations with internal and external services.

• Ensure secure authentication, authorization, and data access controls.

• Optimize backend performance and reliability.

• Support database design and query optimization efforts.

4. Quality, Testing, and Reliability

• Write maintainable unit tests and participate in integration testing activities.

• Support defect investigation, root cause analysis, and bug resolution.

• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards.

• Contribute to improving overall application stability and maintainability.

• Collaborate closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

5. Collaboration and Agile Delivery

• Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives.

• Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and estimate work.

• Communicate progress, technical risks, and dependencies effectively.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Support production releases and post-release activities when required.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve development practices, tooling, and engineering processes.

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge repositories.

• Explore emerging technologies and recommend practical improvements to the platform.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in full stack software development.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience developing frontend applications using Angular.

• Experience building backend services using Node.js and NestJS.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL.

• Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and SSO.

• Experience using version control systems such as Git.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and development workflows.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Exposure to Nx monorepo environments.

• Experience working with reporting, analytics, or data-intensive applications.

• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for frontend and backend systems.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.

• Prior experience in enterprise SaaS or consulting environments.
