We are looking for a highly skilled Full-stack Engineer who can take ownership of complex engineering problems from ideation to production. This is a high-impact role where you'll work closely with the CEO to build and scale our platform while influencing product and technical direction. You will work across the entire technology stack, from building intuitive React-based user interfaces to developing scalable Python backend services and cloud-native infrastructure. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and enjoys solving challenging technical problems with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: - Own features end-to-end from solution design and development to deployment and production support. - Build scalable web applications using React on the frontend and Python (FastAPI) on the backend. - Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. - Architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems while making pragmatic technical decisions. - Collaborate closely with the CEO, product, and engineering teams to translate business goals into technical solutions. - Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security. - Write clean, reusable, well-tested, and maintainable code while following engineering best practices. - Review code, mentor engineers, and contribute to raising engineering standards. - Identify technical debt and proactively improve system architecture and developer experience. - Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and product planning. Requirements: - 5+ years of hands-on experience as a full-stack engineer focused on building and shipping production-grade applications. - Strong proficiency in Python with experience building scalable backend services using FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic. - Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, Vite, JavaScript (ES6+), and Tailwind CSS for modern frontend development. - Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating the frontend with backend services. - Strong experience working with PostgreSQL and database design principles. - Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Build, and Secret Manager. - Experience working with Redis, microservices architecture, and asynchronous/background processing. - Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, and performance optimisation. - Experience writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code and following engineering best practices. - Proficiency with Git, version control, and CI/CD workflows. - Ability to independently own projects from design through production with minimal supervision. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to work in ambiguous environments. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability. Preferred Skills: - Experience building AI/LLM-powered applications using LangChain and OpenAI APIs. - Experience with Pandas and NumPy for data processing. - Experience developing Chrome or LinkedIn browser extensions. - Experience with Google Apps Script integrations. - Previous experience working in a startup or high-growth product company.
