Job Objective:
The Front End Developer will be part of the team managing and supporting Nouryons Digital Support Devops team. We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Developer to ensure the upkeep of high-quality custom web applications utilizing Angular, .NET and Microsoft technologies of our Web based enterprise applications. This includes ensuring alignment with business needs, compliance with industry best practices, and delivering outstanding user experiences.
This role is responsible for driving the technical success of UI design for accelerating software development and maintaining consistency between applications.
The team will work in a Devops methodology and teams efforts will be prioritized and coordinated by the Product Owner /Team Lead /Scrum Master.

About the job (Job Responsibilities)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and understand their requirements.
- Design front end based on business requirements and user experience level
- Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management.
- Identify and escalate any application issues or risks to the team and provide suggestions for resolution
- Continuously improve development processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of development activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands.
- Driving innovation/adoption of Industry practices through investigation/institutionalization of new tools/methods/standards.
- Ability to take a mock or concept and turn it into a working experience.
- Create documents and make sure that they are reviewed and approved by appropriate stakeholders.
- Participate in estimation of User Stories in Story points and commit the efforts required
- Develop to cover all user stories acceptance criteria and honor timely deliveries.
- Understanding of content management system (CMS) like Episerver/Optimisely will be added advantage
- Resolve production incidents or defects as needed, and proactively identify potential issues. before they appear in the production environment; contribute to the root cause analysis.
- Drive high performance and accountability for own deliverables.
- Actively participate and contribute into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, refinements etc.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve the sprint objectives.
- Drive continual service improvements.
- Drive knowledge sharing efforts in organization
- Periodic standby for emergencies (24x7 availability schedule)
We believe you bring (Education & Experience)
- Master / bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Knowledge of front End tools such as Html5 , CSS3,PostCSS,Javascript,Vue + , VueX, JSON, Babel, Webpack, Gulp, Vuetify, SASS or similar tools.
- Experience in responsive web development
- Experience in using RESTful APIs, Angular framework will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG 2.1 AA and AAA and the implementation of accessible UI front end.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug front-end issues using browser developer tools
- Experience in optimizing front-end performance for faster load times
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt for bundling and automating tasks
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git, including branching and merging strategies
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how front-end code fits into the deployment process
- Basic understanding of monitoring and logging for frontend-related metrics and issues
- Awareness of containerization technologies like Docker and their role in DevOps practices
- Knowledge of backend development will be an added advantage
- Experience working in Agile or Devops teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- minimum of 8 years working experience
- General IT interest - Keen interest in digital technology and Microsoft platforms. Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new tools and practices.
- User Experience - Calls attention to issues that impact customer satisfaction; views from the end-user perspective.
- Taking responsibility - Takes accountability for delivering on commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development; openly discusses his/her actions and their consequences both good and bad
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel internationally from time to time as part of the role (eg Netherlands, Sweden, China, US)
