ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a hybrid role for a Freelance Motion Graphics Designer based in Bangalore.

The Freelance Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating motion-based assets for ads, brand films, explainers, and social media content. Day-to-day tasks include storyboarding, designing visual elements, animating graphics, compositing, and collaborating with the creative team to bring ideas to life. The role requires translating scripts, references, and client objectives into engaging visual motion content.

The ideal candidate should have strong aesthetic adaptabilityan ability to shift between design styles depending on brand tone, TG, and campaign goalsensuring every motion creative feels intentional, on-brand, and strategically aligned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in creating animated explainers, ad creatives, and brand motion systems
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and motion design workflows
• Understanding of typography, transitions, timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
• Ability to design from scratch as well as animate existing brand elements
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate creative ideas clearly
• Capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation, Visual Communication, or related field (optional)
• Prior experience in a similar role or a strong portfolio showcasing motion work
