Job Summary:

  • The Fixed Assets Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of the organization's fixed assets, ensuring accurate recording, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting.

  • This role involves supervising the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), managing depreciation, coordinating audits, and ensuring adherence to internal financial controls.

  • The manager will also lead vendor relations, monitor reconciliations, and provide strategic insights through management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and proper recording of transactions with provision analysis.

  • Supervise computation of monthly depreciation for ATM and infrastructure-related assets update the Fixed Assets Master.

  • Oversee daily CWIP (Capital Work in Progress) reconciliation and resolve FAR-related queries.

  • Review and approve monthly journal Entries (JVs)

  • Manage vendor relations, handle vendor queries, and review HPY Invoices tracker.

  • Prepare audit documentation, respond to audit queries, and ensure adherence to IFC controls.

  • Ensure all schedules to accounts are reconciled and tied to books.

  • Maintain tracking reports for management reporting.

  • Lead month-end activities such as FA schedules, ATM vs FAR reconciliation, ATMID-wise MIS, consolidated FAR, bank-wise reports, PCC schedules, FAR, and cash flow additions.

  • Provide strategic oversight on asset lifecycle management and compliance with organizational policies

  • Leading automation projects for FAR processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • MCOM/MBA/CA

  • 4-6 years of experience in fixed assets accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of depreciation methods, FAR management, CWIP reconciliation, and audit processes.

  • Familiarity with IFC controls, SOCD requirements, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
