NOVARGI Indian branch, an Indian established company belonging to the International Group NOVARGI, is currently seeking 2 Senior Mechanical Engineer Fix Equipment to join our Indian team based in PUNE.

About The Role:2 Senior Mechanical Engineer (Fixed Equipment)
The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and performance of fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and piping systems.
Lead the design and analysis of fixed equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI) and client specifications.
Perform stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and failure analysis on critical equipment components.
Utilize advanced engineering software (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and simulation purposes.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, civil engineers, and procurement specialists.
Develop and oversee inspection, maintenance, and testing programs for fixed equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Recommend and implement upgrades or modifications to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Ensure all fixed equipment complies with relevant safety regulations and environmental standards.
Develop and enforce engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
Participate in safety reviews, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends, and implement innovative solutions.
About Your profile:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on fixed equipment in the oil and gas industry.
Proven track record of successful project management and delivery.
Extensive experience with design codes and standards such as ASME Section VIII, API 650, API 620, and ANSI B31.3.
Advanced knowledge of pressure equipment calculation tools (PV Elite, B-Jac, Autocad, FEM, B-JAC, Solid Works and others)
FE-PIPE / NOZZLE-PRO
Knowledge of 2D drafting programs
Basic knowledge of 3D design programs
Certification in relevant areas such as API 510/570/653 is a plus.
Knowledge in Tanks design (API650), Pressure Vessels (ASME Codes), HEX (TEMA), Air Coolers (API661).
