Objectives
Contribute to facilitate V&V lifecycle for Urban solution for all APAC projects to deliver the content of V&V Work Package as committed and meet customer satisfaction and QCD goals.
Purpose of the Role
To organize and execute system validation activities for U400 signalling projects to ensure the delivery of a complete, correct, and accurate system in line with Project contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that factory testing (via various means) provides a full coverage to guarantee a correct implementation of the requirements: functional & safety requirements.
- Design test description procedures against system requirements for Metro signalling system to be executed.
- Understanding the purpose of baseline delivery, perform impact analysis and decide scope of validation for the delivery.
- Collect the inputs needed for system validation as per baseline delivery notes.
- System Integration: Deploy subsystem data in test environment, configure simulations and perform the start-up tests (post installation) for sub system interfaces
- Execution of system test procedure, capture logs, analyse the results and record the associated test artifacts.
- Review and understandings of expected vs actual behaviour of delivery.
- Investigation on anomaly root cause to determine and eliminate false negatives, interface with project stakeholders to finalize anomaly identification and raise CRs
- Deliver the system validation report synthesis for the system test session
- Test report: Synthesis of the tests performed and analysis of the non-conformities detected during the validation sessions in order to identify the restrictions to be applied to the T&C activities .
- Performs other related activities as requested.
Eligibility
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering
Experience: 3+ years of railway signalling experience. Technical expertise in functional area.
Desired skills:
Experience/knowledge in CBTC/CBI/ATS/ATC or ERTMS/ETCS or PTC system architectural & functions.
Virtualization Concepts,
Networking & communication.
Setting up of testbench environment & configuring simulation.
Alstom/COTS Product knowledge
Freeware/Tools knowledge used across V&V.
