Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Prepare long-term financial plans and business projections.
• Monitor budget utilization and identify variances.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze monthly financial performance, key business metrics, and profitability.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.

Business Partnering

• Partner with business teams to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Provide financial insights on revenue growth, cost optimization, and investments.
• Support leadership with scenario planning and financial modelling.

Forecasting & Performance Management

• Drive monthly and quarterly forecasting exercises.
• Track KPIs and business performance indicators.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively.

Process Improvement & Controls

• Improve financial reporting processes and automation.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Commercial, HR, and Operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA / MBA Finance / CFA preferred.
• 5–12 years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, or Commercial Finance.
• Experience in retail, consumer, manufacturing, or FMCG industry preferred.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
