Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Modelling and Valuation Specialist to join their dynamic team. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving financial analysis and maximizing values across various sectors within our organisation. The candidate will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining complex financial models across multiple sectors.
Skills & Qualification:
MBA / Postgraduate in Finance, CA, CFA (Appeared or Pursuing)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working in financial modelling or any related projects.
Strong understanding of financial modelling and valuation concepts
Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards.
Knowledge of Valuations, GAAP/Non-GAAP, M&A concept, etc is desirable.
Experience in Financial modelling and projections, including experience in building models from scratch in MS excel with the ability to understand and formulate business drivers (revenue, cost etc)
Proficiency in MS-Office
Familiar with databases such as Bloomberg, Eikon Refinitiv, FactSet etc.
Excellent analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (both verbal and non-verbal)
Capable of working in dynamic & changing environments.
Flexible to work across multiple time zones in accordance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and update detailed company financial models to analyse and forecast financial performance, cash flows, and valuation metrics.
Incorporate historical financial data, industry benchmarks, and market trends into models to provide accurate projections.
Analyse and interpret the current and past financial data to support modelling and valuation assumptions.
Conduct valuation analysis using DCF, relative valuation, SOTP and other approaches.
Conduct scenario analysis based on macro and micro factors that helps in assessing risk
Conduct in-dept secondary research and offer deep insights on the sector or companies under coverage.
Track news /updates related to companies under coverage/sector/macroeconomic indicators.
Ensure that the tasks assigned are completed within the deadline, ensuring top quality output with a thoroughly conducted self-driven quality-check process.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics affecting the financial models and valuations.
Apply your extensive knowledge and experience to provide sector-specific insights and recommendations.
Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and understand the requirements.
Maintaining confidentiality of all official and client information
Works collaboratively with the team and be a positive contributor to the firms culture.
