Role: Analyst Trust & Safety & Mystery Shopping Gambling

About the Role

The Analyst will support the execution of gambling mystery shopping programs across online betting, casino, poker, esports, and lottery platforms. Reporting to the Director and working alongside Senior Consultants, this role contributes to the identification of compliance risks in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), financial crime prevention, responsible gambling regulations, and payment card brand requirements . The Analyst is responsible for assisting in mystery shopping assignments, capturing evidence, documenting findings, and supporting the preparation of compliance reports. This is an entry- to mid-level role designed for candidates with strong analytical skills and interest in gambling compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting gambling mystery shopping assignments across multiple platforms.

Simulate customer experiences including registration, KYC, deposits, wagers, and withdrawals.

Document findings with detailed evidence such as screenshots, notes, and transaction records.

Support Senior Consultants in analyzing risks and compliance gaps.

Help prepare reports for compliance, risk, and leadership stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date on gambling regulations, AML requirements, and responsible gaming best practices.

Ensure all test data, credentials, and personal information are handled securely and ethically.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Compliance, Law, Data Analytics, or a related field.

13 years of experience in compliance, risk management, fraud detection, or the betting and gaming industry preferred (internship or project experience acceptable).

Basic understanding of AML, KYC, and gambling regulatory frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to document findings clearly and accurately.

Good communication skills and willingness to learn from senior team members.
